Stress Management Workshops
Situation: The high level of stress for employees of a large government agency was reducing productivity and increasing employee turnover.
Workshop: Su Ying prepared and presented a series of workshops to deal with stress. A total of 450 staff members attended the workshops. At the workshops the attendees learned how to recognize stress in themselves and others, to understand how stress gets in their way, and were able to learn and practice ways to reduce and eliminate stress from their lives. Following the workshops, staff members reported significantly lower levels of stress and all levels of management noted improvements to productivity.
Goal Setting / Mindfulness / Exercise Seminars
Situation: The staff of a social service agency were struggling with staying focused on critical tasks in working with the many varied issues facing their clients.
Seminars: Su Ying prepared and presented seminars that included mindfullness training, goal setting techniques, and simple exercises. At the seminars the staff member learned about the process for setting and managing to personal goals, how to practice mindfulness to keep focused, and exposed to simple exercises that help them healthy in their work. After the seminars, the social workers were able to more effectively and efficiently meet the critical needs of their clients while maintaining their own healthy life balance.
